Grenache is the world’s second largest type of grape. Black Grenache grows in Spain and the South of France. It adds spice to Rioja wines and makes the Rioja wine stronger. In hot climates, Grenache wines have an aroma of juicy plums and vanilla.
Grenache Noir grows in Spain and South of France. It adds spicy taste on Spanish Rioja and makes Rioja stronger. Grenache is also the powerful force of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Gigondas in France. In California with plenty of sunshine, Grenache wines have aromas of juicy plums and vanilla.
Dolcetto means “a little sweet”, it expresses original fruit flavor of grapes. The 2013 vintage of our estate Dolcetto has sharp tannins and will age beautifully for another 6-8 years. It has a lot of dark berry flavors on top of mocha and licorice.
This elegant Chardonnay shows scents of butterscotch, honeydew melon, and apple on the nose. Flavors of honeysuckle, granny smith apple and lemon are wrapped in a light oaky-vanilla blanket, leaving a smooth yet crisp finish.
Pinot Noir grapes make one of the most popular wines in the world. It represents delicate, elegant, and feminine wines. The grapes are sensitive to climate, soil and geography. Pinot Noir grapes are thin-skinned. Originating in Burgundy, France Pinot Noir has a long history of cultivation; the earliest record it of is during the 1st century A.D. and at that period the grape was known as Pinor Vermei. Pinot Noir is now widely planted, the largest growing area is in Bourgogne, France, followed by the USA and New Zealand.
It just doesn't get better than our Reserve Pinot Noir. This expression of Pinot Noir is the cream of the crop. The aromas suggest perfume like lavendar and wild flowers. Red fruits dominate like pomegranate and wild strawberry. There's a hint of licorice and spice on the finish backed by a mouth watering acidity that makes this wine great with lamb or duck.
This Rhône-inspired Syrah has lovely notes of white and black cracked pepper, chanterelles, huckleberries, graphite and backyard plums. Fine, elegant tannins are prevalent, as is a long, lingering finish.
Our flagship wine expresses a bouquet fruits including scents of cranberry, strawberry, earth, black pepper and chamomile. This wine is has great complexity that carry through to the flavor profile on the palate. This wine has a velvety mouthfeel and deceivingly easy to drink at 14.2% abv.
