2013 Grevino Chardonnay
Chardonnay is treated as a multi-faced beauty in the world of wine and is considered as top-class wines. Young Chardonnay wines have refreshing acidity and exhibit further aromas of green fruits. When getting more mature, however, Chardonnay wines will evolve into complex ones with rich aromas, which will add to her stronger attractive qualities. This wine was aged in 50% new French oak barrels and will age nicely for another 4-6 years.
Notes:
This decade-old Chardonnay is standing the test of time. Golden in the glass, it offers cashew paste, paraffin and honeyed pear on the nose. The palate is hefty in flavors of toasted hazelnut and butter cookie, retaining ample energy. — Matt Kettmann Wine Enthusiast
