Dolcetto means “a little sweet”, it expresses original fruit flavor of grapes. The 2013 vintage of our estate Dolcetto has sharp tannins and will age beautifully for another 6-8 years. It has a lot of dark berry flavors on top of mocha and licorice.
A well rounded wine with aromas of blueberry, raspberry and sweet spices. On the palate, the wine opens with ripe fruit flavours such as black cherries. The tannins in this wine make it perfect for seasoned meats and cheeses.

Slightly tangy black plum aromas meet with clove and graphite on the dynamic nose of this bottling. The palate is very spicy in mace, nutmeg and clove, as dark fruit and dried herb flavors fill the core. — Matt Kettmann
